I'm an intelligent person. I would assume that grammar, spelling and education are important to everyone who would be interested in buying this book. I would also assume that those reading it NEED NO EXPLANATION of the errors. If you need it all spelled out for you, then you are NOT, one would think, the target audience for this book. Every.single.example in this book has an explanation/"correction"/cutesy wisecrack along with it, that is just one "Well...DUUUUHHHH" after another. It honestly RUINED my enjoyment of the book. If the author had restrained herself and ST*U with the cutesy DUHs, I would have smiled and chuckled my way through the examples. As it is, I'm not even going to bother trying, it's just going in my next garage sale.
Many of the photos taken to show poor English grammar are either in places where English is not the first language (e.g., China, Japan), or the person who wrote it has other first language ability other than English. One photo looked like it was written by a child (yard sale of some kind). If the author is going to be judgmental, please do not include children and non-Anglo Saxonic speakers.
